My heart!!! 😭 All four of us began in Texas and found our way to Boulder, CO. Completely different paths, but we’re all getting along just fine
So this happened. 😳 Introducing the two newest members of the Gulsby-Dayton household. They’re already two peas in a pod. 😍
I am obsessed with these brunettes. And tiki nights at @thekitchen. And being back home in Boulder. And this summer weather.
With one month between the end of spring semester and the beginning of my internship, what did I want to do with my time? I wanted to go home. To be in the south, eat good food, and spend overdue time with my family. And for three weeks, that’s exactly what we did. We cruised the roads under the Mason Dixon line in the behemoth freightliner, explored historic cities, and ate our fill of oysters, shrimp n grits, and fried green tomatoes. To talk news with my dad over morning coffee, solve crosswords with mom, cuddle with our old senior pups - it was everything I wanted and needed. I’m not sure how many more opportunities I’ll have to spend this time with my family. Life just gets so busy, doesn’t it? Next week, I plunge into my new role as Marketing Intern at Boom Supersonic. I’m equal parts stoked, calm, and recharged. And I have my family and home to thank for that.
